He warned on Wednesday that he is about to run out of fuel in the Gaza Strip, which will force him to drastically reduce efforts to help the blocked and devastated territory due to Israeli airstrikes. This warning came while Gaza hospitals struggled to treat masses of wounded with dwindling resources. Meanwhile, the top UN official faced Israeli backlash after stating that the Hamas massacre had caused havoc in Gaza. Workers bravely pulled out victims from the rubble in cities across the territory, rescuing dead and wounded civilians, including many children. According to the Gaza Health Ministry, Israel’s air strikes in Gaza City affected more than 750 people on Wednesday. The ministry also reported that at least 40 Palestinians were killed in the past 24 hours. Please note that the Associated Press could not independently verify the death toll, and it remains unclear whether the count includes some militants. The United States has classified Hamas as a terrorist group, while the Israeli army accuses Hamas of using civilians as human shields during the conflict. Health officials have reported a significant number of civilian casualties, highlighting the devastating impact of Israel’s airstrikes on the population.
